Club Profile The New Plymouth Old Boys' Rugby Club was founded in 1919 and has its headquarters at Vogeltown Park, Carrington Street, New Plymouth where it enjoys the benefits of three floodlit playing fields together with recently completed changing rooms, updated split level social lounge, on-site caterer and modern refreshment facilities. The Rugby Club is an important part of the NPOB Sports Complex, a body set up a few years ago to administer Vogeltown Park and it's facilities. Old Boys has a proud record of outstanding performances of Club Teams over the years which highlights the success of the Club. Over the last twelve years NPOB teams have won no fewer than eighteen Taranaki Titles: - Senior A - 12 championships
- Senior Development - 5 championships
- Under 19 - 4 championships
In addition, the NPOB Rugby Club has won the trophy for the most successful Taranaki Rugby Club on numerous occasions.
